Choose the verification style, the role granted on success and (optionally) the channel. New members see a verification prompt; only verified members can talk.
What it protects against
- Bot raids — mass-produced accounts fail verification en masse
- Alt accounts — friction makes throwaways not worth it
- Drive-by trolling — join-spam-purge patterns die instantly

💡 Tip
Enable verification before you need it. Turning it on mid-raid is like closing the gate after the horses are out.
Dashboard
Server admins manage all verification settings from Server → Settings on the dashboard as well — same config, nicer UI for picking roles and channels.
